Our Wedding Illawarra has endeavoured to encourage photographers to be part of the Our Wedding Illawarra initiative that have created a reputation, credibility and unique style within the Illawarra and surrounding regions.

Our Wedding Illawarra has purposely selected and limited the numbers of photographers to the Our Wedding Illawarra program to assist the wedding couple in selecting a reputable photographer. Photography is considered the single most important aspect of most couples’ wedding. Choosing the right photographer is vital, as he or she will be capturing the memories you will keep for a lifetime. Selecting a photographer from the Illawarra that meets your expectations will ensure you that they have the knowledge of the local region and that they know all the best locations available to have your photographs taken.

The Illawarra region is situated 1.5 hours south from Sydney and is made up of the cities of Wollongong and Shellharbour and the township of Kiama. Wollongong being the regional center is situated on a narrow coastal plain below the Illawarra Escarpment and lies between the rugged Illawarra coast with beautiful beaches.

The Illawarra region lends itself for great photos, would you like a spectacular view forming the backdrop, or would you like your photos in the country with rolling hills filling the background or would you like the sand and surf in your photos, remember that you are always only 15 minutes from a beach in the Illawarra. Your photographer will always know those special spots to take your photos.
