Operating for over 50 years, The Illawarra Yacht Club has become the “place to be seen” when visiting the Illawarra. The Illawarra Yacht club has the advantage of being the only club in the Illawarra that is completely located on the edge of the Lake, thus ensuring a view so splendid we had to build two function rooms to cater for the demand.

The Lakeside Function Centre is unique with absolute water frontage and spectacular views over Lake Illawarra, and then out to the distance the Illawarra Escarpment make a picturesque horizon. A perfect setting for your wedding photographs and with our water front area you even do have the option of having your ceremony and reception all at the same location.
